The story revolves around a little fish who steals a blue hat from a big, sleeping fish. This fish who has no guilt or regret, swims away to hide, without noticing what is following after him. 🐟
Opinion/Critique
I think this book is definitely suited for the younger elementary level. It’s a fun yet very simple book for kids to read. I recommend this book to kids who are naturally curious because they will be jumping with excitement, trying to hypothesize what happened with the stolen hat.
Classroom application
This will be a great starter book to read to students. It can be an introduction to sentence structure and increase familiarity with certain grammar rules such as capitalization and periods. Or it can be one of those fun books to read during free time! |
