The Adventures of Beekle: The Unimaginary Friend

2:12 PM

An imaginary friend is created on an island with other imaginary friends. They all wait for a real kid to imagine them and choose their name. However, as this imaginary friend realizes that no child is picking him, he decides to do the unimaginable- go on his own adventure and find his real kid. He then meets Alice who gives him the name "Beekle". Alice and Beekle, who form this instant connection, end up doing the unimaginable together.

Opinion/Critique
I think this book will be enjoyable to kids who love creativity and imagination. Since the story keeps you curious about Beekle's fate, I think kids will find this book interesting and fun. I also like the pictures that fill up each page and love how adorable Beekle is.
Classroom Application
This can be a fun book for story time because it captures the students' attention through the animated pictures and plot of Beekle's adventure. The sentences are short and simple so students can also read this book on their own time.
